Weekend Retreat in Teotihuacan

Greetings Friends ~
Teotihuacan is about 1 hour north of Mexico city. It is an ancient city and pyramid complex housing the giant pyramid of the sun, the smaller pyramid of the moon and the avenue of the dead / ancestors which connects the 2 pyramids. Dating from about 100 BCE, the culture that built this magnificent site is unknown, it is pre-Aztec. The Aztecs found the city perfectly intact, centuries later and named it. The site is visually stunning and holds a powerful and mystical energy.
I spent some time at Teotihuacan in 2012 and I have been wanting to go back since that time. This December I will be visiting Teotihuacan for the weekend after our dancing with the light Baja retreat and I am taking a small group of about 5 to 10 people with me.
The Retreat, Guided Tour & Cave Ceremony
During the retreat, we will focus on both practices and philosophy that relate to the energies of sun and moon alchemy and how to work with them in our daily life. On both December 12 and 13th, we will have a guided tour for up to four hours with a tour guide of Toltec descent. We will explore the site with sacred intention and practices, we will also participate in a private sound healing ceremony in an ancient initiation cave.
We also practice, yoga, meditation, and breath, work each day as well as chanting and Satsang in the evenings.
On Monday Morning we are planning an optional Sunrise Hot Air Ballon Ride!
Our Guides
Some years ago, when I was in India, I met a delegation of wisdom keepers,elders from South America. One of them that I connected with told me that his family were of Toltec descent and were caretakers of Teotihuacan. I have been able to reach out to Ricardo and arrange for a member of his family to guide us into the sacred site. We will learn a lot about this sacred site, both physically, energetically and spiritually.
We have limited space for this weekend adventure and I am planning to only take students that I already know. However, if you would like to join us and I have not been on a retreat program with me before please reach out and we can discuss it.
