We invite you to join us for this special 5 day Bhakti Immersion retreat in magical Ojai, Ca.
One of the highs of this last year was our 5 day Bhakti Immersion last august. It was such good heart medicine we are doing it again this Spring. Every day the BHAV(mood) will be sweet, deep & full, we will start each morning with soaking in hot pools, Meditation + chanting the gayatri mantra + hanuman chalisa, deep healing atma yoga sessions, lots of kirtan, deep heart wisdom teachings from bhakti and tantra lineages. We will also learn to lead chants, play instruments, do lots and lots of kirtan, daily chanting of mantras, meditation, amazing food, soul family community and lots more kirtan ! and just hang out in the Bhav.
Bhakti means devotion, it is the path of love, it is the heart of Yoga. To understand Bhakti is to understand the essence of Yoga. In the core teachings of Yoga, it is said that without bhakti, without devotion, without deep love – true knowledge & awakening are not possible. Join Saul and special guests for this 5 day immersion training in the magical valley of Ojai. We will practice & experience Bhakti Yoga through study and practice of Bhakti Yoga, kirtan (chanting of sacred names), mantra practice, meditation, ritual, Yoga practice and learning how to lead kirtan and chanting ourselves. We will also focus on the study of Ayurvedic lifestyle principles; how to deepen our understanding of Ayurveda and how to help others with this great healing system. And of course deepening our yoga practice of heart centered, breath centered holistic yoga.

* Essential teachings – modes of Bhakti & the Bhava’s of Yoga
* Learning to sing, play in and lead kirtans (no musical experience necessary, just an open heart)
* Learning to play Harmonium, Guitar, Drums and Kartals to lead with or support the kirtan.
* Understanding the Cosmic energies through the deities.
* Daily Mantras & Practices for strengthening the Spiritual Heart
* Daily Chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, Gayatri and powerful mantra’s used for as tools for healing
* Daily Pranayama + Mudra Practice
* Understanding and teaching of the importance & power of the human Heart from Scientific & Metaphysical view points
* Integrating Bhakti, philosophy, kirtan & mantras in daily life and to share with others through teaching.
* Understanding the importance of all the Yoga’s Bhakti, Raja, Karma, Jnana, Tantra, Ha-Tha, etc ….and how they all fit together.

Please bring your instruments with you to the immersion – harmoniums, drums, kartals, guitar – if you would like guidance on buying harmoniums, drums or kartals please email the office – we have great distributors who would need at least 2 weeks to ship.

Deposit is $500 and is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 7 days before the program then $400 can be transferred to another Ritam training program if approved.
This immersion can be used as 50 hour continuing education through Yoga Alliance as training hours.
